Gluten Free Bottomless Brunch in London

Share this page:

Recently a few different followers have asked me for gluten free bottomless brunch recommendations in London and I thought it might be useful to share my suggestions with everyone. Not familiar with the concept of bottomless brunch? Basically you pay a set amount and receive unlimited fizz/cocktails/other drinks for 1.5-2 hours alongside your gluten free brunch dish of choice. Perfect weekend fun!

London now has a few really strong gluten free bottomless brunch options, some of which are new in recent months and there is wonderful variety. From classic brunch fare to Venezuelan and even Vietnamese cuisine on offer, never have we coeliacs had such a fun array of choices. Although I have eaten at a few of these restaurants, I haven’t tried all of these places personally. Nevertheless, I have done thorough research where I am not able to share my first-hand opinion. If you have any other recommendations for this list that I have missed out please email me at mygfguide@gmail.com.

As always when eating out please ask your own questions when you book/arrive and please treat my recommendations as a guide only. Processes and menus do change and while I try to keep up I am only one woman vs a big world of restaurants! If you are a bit nervous about mixed facility places then there is one fully gluten free place on here (Near & Far) and two Coeliac UK accredited restaurants (Mommi and Pho).

Arepa & Co

  • WHERE: Bethnal Green.
  • WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 12pm – 4pm.
  • WHAT: Their new Pachanga Bottomless Brunch – choose a gluten free brunch dish plus side dish (you MUST try the yuca chips, they are amazing and coeliac safe), then pair with your choice of rum cocktails, fizz or mimosas. They have a live DJ playing (fairly chilled) modern South American and Latin beats. Most of their menu is gluten free and I have eaten here a few times, always without issue. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and the gluten-containing options are marked on the menu. Brunch options include a full Venezuelan breakfast (Breakfast Criollo pictured below) and cachapa gluten free pancakes with grilled cheese, bacon, fried egg and maple syrup!
  • TIME LIMIT: 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • PRICE: Food + add £20 for bottomless.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Dairy free and vegan options available.

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings

  • WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
  • WHAT: B&H Weekend Brunch – a classic brunch menu with plenty of gluten free choices (gluten free bread available), such as gluten free pancakes served with toasted hazelnuts and caramelised banana. I have eaten here before and had a good experience, but have not tried their brunch. The team were very helpful when I contacted them and said that everything can be made gluten free apart from the chorizo, cumberland sausage and the braised beef.
  • TIME LIMIT: 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 9, 2 hours for parties of 10-16 people.
  • PRICE: Food + add £17 for bloody marys/£18 for bellinis/£25 for bubbles.

Try the cava sangria, it’s delicious! The paellas are gluten free and if you book in advance they will be able to prepare some gluten free tapas options for you. Ours were olives, padron peppers and gluten free tomato bread. Brindisa staff were very knowledgeable about dietary requirements and I really enjoyed my visit here.

Eneko

  • WHAT: Basque Bottomless Brunch – various tasty brunch dishes plus a bottomless cava or wine option. All items on the menu can be made gluten free, aside from the egg yolks in tempura and Basque crystal bread. I have not tried the brunch here but have eaten the a la carte menu and had a fabulous experience (the most amazing gluten free bread and excellent food), plus Eneko is housed in the same hotel as fully gluten free restaurant Indigo so you know the kitchen is very experienced in that regard. Gluten free dishes included tortilla, Basque scrambed eggs with iberico ham, duck rice, roasted aubergine and smoked potatoes.
  • TIME LIMIT: 2 hours.
  • PRICE: Food + £20 for bottomless booze.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Please enquire.

Honest Burgers (Bank branch only)

  • WHERE: Bank.
  • WHEN: Saturday, time-slots from 11:30am, 1:30pm & 3:30pm.
  • WHAT: Boozy Bottomless Brunch – offered only at the restaurant’s Bank branch, I am awaiting specific gluten free option confirmation from the HB team but their restaurants are generally so good for coeliacs that I am being optimistic and adding them here for now. Please call and check before you go. Booze options include prosecco, buck’s fizz, bloody marys and gin cocktails.
  • TIME LIMIT: 90 minutes.
  • PRICE: £30.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Dairy free and vegan option available.

Lantana

  • WHERE: Three locations – Fitzrovia, London Bridge and Shoreditch.
  • WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 9am – 4pm.
  • WHAT: The Lantana Blowout – a brunch item from their Aussie style brunch menu with unlimited prosecco or mimosas. They also have a booze free option with unlimited juices and coffees too. They have gluten free bread and I had a good experience when I visited (although it was some time ago).
  • TIME LIMIT: 90 minutes.
  • PRICE: £30 for the bottomless booze, £25 for the bottomless juice/coffees.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: TBC.

  • WHAT: A fully gluten free brunch menu – one brunch item (choose from dishes including smashed avo on gluten free toast, bacon taquitos, sweet potato and quinoa burger) plus a tea or coffee and bottomless margaritas/aperol spritz/bloody marys. They also have monthly Brunch & Blow events where you can get your hair styled and regular Club Puppicana events, a dog-friendly brunch.

Pho (St Pauls branch only)

  • WHAT: Bottomless Vietnamese Brunch – I tried this new brunch the other week and LOVED it. Really well priced, you get a generous main plus unlimited prosecco, coffee martinis, mimosas with fresh orange juice or sriracha bloody marys. We tried and really enjoyed the brunch rice bowl, fried rice & eggs and pandan waffles with berries. Staff are so lovely too and given its location inside the One New Change shopping centre you can sneak in a cheeky bit of shopping afterwards*! Coeliac UK accredited.
  • TIME LIMIT: 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • PRICE: £25.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Dairy free options available.

*This author bears no responsibility for you getting a bit tipsy and buying too many clothes on your post-brunch shopping trip :D.

Roka Aldwych

  • WHERE: Aldwych.
  • WHEN: Saturday 11.30am – 3.30pm and Sunday/Bank Holidaus from 11.30am – 8pm.
  • WHAT: Han Setto Brunch – a three course brunch with gluten free options available and marked on the menu. Booze options include prosecco, red wine and white wine. Santo Remedio

  • WHERE: London Bridge.
  • WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 4pm.
  • WHAT: Mexican Free Flowing Brunch – gluten free options available for all courses aside from the sharing dessert (churros). I still think it is worth it and staff may be able to offer an alternative but flagging this so you are not disappointed. You start with tortilla chips and guacamole, then get a starter and main (then that sharing dessert). I think very highly of Santo Remedio’s food and have eaten here a few times. The menu is largely gluten free and staff are very clued up. The pork belly tacos included in the brunch deal are amazing! Drinks offered for the bottomless brunch are regular margaritas, frozen margaritas or fizz.
  • TIME LIMIT: 2 hours.
  • PRICE: £45.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: I couldn’t see many dairy free options on their brunch menu but the main menu may have further options – please enquire direct with the restaurant.

Scarlett Green

  • WHERE: Soho
  • WHEN: Monday – Saturday, 8am – 4pm and Sunday, 9am – 4pm.
  • WHAT: Aussie Bottomless Brunch Party – one savoury dish and one sweet dish plus bottomless mimosas or prosecco. Their Australian-style brunch menu has gluten free choices clearly marked. They stress that they cannot guarantee no cross contamination, but this is a fairly typical disclaimer in London restaurants these days.
  • TIME LIMIT: 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • PRICE: £39.50.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Please enquire.

Senor Ceviche (Carnaby)

  • WHERE: Oxford Circus

The bottomless booze is peach bellinis, mimosas or wine.
  • TIME LIMIT: 1 hour 45 minutes.
  • PRICE: £39.
  • OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Please enquire.

Tramshed (also Hixter Bankside)

Options include eggs benedict, scrambled egg and salmon gluten free toast, roast chicken and chips and shakshuka. Also gluten free onion rings are available as a side! Bottomless option is for prosecco or bloody marys. Tramshed were INCREDIBLY helpful at providing information when I enquired and are clearly very well set up for gluten free customers.
