Laura Strange – Gluten Free Cook, Content Creator and Travel Writer

Hi! I’m Laura

My name is Laura Strange and I was diagnosed with coeliac disease almost 25 years ago. Living a gluten free life for so long means I’ve gotten pretty good at gluten free cooking and have lots of tips and tricks to share.

I often demonstrate gluten free cooking at shows and write gluten free recipes, coeliac advice and travel guides as my full time job.

I work regularly with brands, food festivals and travel companies, so please get in touch for more information or to request a media pack.

Cookery Demos

I enjoy doing cookery demos for both gluten free and mixed audiences, showing that gluten free dishes can be enjoyed by everyone and are easy to make. Recent demos include Valley Fest (August 2022). Foodies Festival (May 2022) and the Free From Festival Bristol (April 2022).

Brand & Travel Collaborations

I love to hear from brands, restaurants and gluten free friendly hotels and destinations looking to connect with a gluten free audience. Spreading the word about coeliac-friendly food and travel, and giving confidence to other gluten free people, is core to everything I do at My Gluten Free Guide.

Working with Brands – I  collaborate with relevant brands on long-term and short-term campaigns that would be of interest to my gluten free audience. From recipe development and sponsored posts to product and restaurant reviews. Recent collaborations include work with Sacla, Schär, Cuisinart, Salcombe Dairy, Alaska Salmon, Franklin & Sons, Dove’s Farm, Nature’s Path, Selfridges, Holland & Barrett, Browns Brasserie, Peroni, Morphy Richards, Juvela, Old El Paso and Asda. My Instagram account @myglutenfreeguide has 140,000+ followers and brands often wish to work with me through this channel, in addition to this website.

Travel Features – I travel regularly and produce a coeliac gluten free travel guide series. I am always on the look out for gluten free friendly hotels and restaurants across the UK and abroad to include in my guides. Identifying coeliac-friendly hotels is helpful for my audience, so please get in touch if you think you fit the bill. Hotels we have worked with include Alpen Palace 5 Star Resort in the Dolomites and Hotel Brunelleschi (4 Star) in Florence.

Freelance Writing

I am available for freelance writing for publications looking for a gluten free food or travel expert. I have previously writen for Coeliac Australia, Health MagazineHealthista magazine and HBC Magazine.
