My husband is a stuffing and pigs in blankets addict, so I was especially pleased to see some mouthwateringly different choices available in the Asda Extra Special range. Asda Extra Special British Pork, Chestnut & Oak Smoked Bacon Stuffing (Gluten Free)

This gluten free stuffing is IMMENSE and I loved finding a completely new and different gluten free product (BYE BYE sage and onion). Fantastic quality and packed full of chestnuts, bacon bits and sausage meat, this Asda Extra Special stuffing is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. It baked up beautifully with a shiny sticky blossom honey topping and a sprinkling of cracked black pepper. Serve alongside your gluten free Christmas roast dinner or get creative and whip up some festive gluten free sausage rolls using this gluten free stuffing as the filling.
Asda Extra Special 10 Venison Pigs in Blankets (Gluten Free)

Impress your guests with these super fancy gluten free pigs in blanket. Venison and pork wrapped in streaky bacon, these pigs have a brilliant meaty texture. Hardly any fat came off them during cooking compared to regular pigs in blankets and to me this showed the high quality of the meat used. They were extra tasty and would be a fantastic modern update to your classic Christmas dinner or festive drinks party.

The Asda Extra Special range also has two gluten free gravies in it this year. The Rich & Sumptuous Chicken Gravy would pair nicely with turkey and is made with lots of nice natural ingredients including roast chicken bouillon, vegetables and herbs. If you are a roast beef fan, you have to try the Deep & Full-Flavoured Beef Gravy – it is wonderfully rich and tasty thanks to the inclusion of red currant jelly. Both gravies are free from artificial colours, flavours and hydrogenated fat – fab!
